Thanksgiving Dinner

Since Thanksgiving day just happened to also be a holiday here (Health and Sports Day) I hosted a potluck Thanksgiving dinner for some of the other Shimonosekians (to educate them about the lesser-known Canadian Thanksgiving :) I loved having my apartment smell like stuffing and potatoes! We all got nicely stuffed and then looked at photos.

Lots of people in my small apartment!

Mmm...delicious vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! Complete with kabocha as a pumpkin substitute. :)

Lovely cake! (thank you Sonia!)

Mmmm... I am guessing that you won't be doing this again for U.S. Thanksgiving, although my fingers are crossed. BTW, are you sure you don't want to go public with your blog? It's much more interactive.

American Thanksgiving must be left to one of the Americans (I'll be happy to contribute some vegetarian stuffing though). I think SoDak Becky was going to try to make a turkey though...

I don't mind if other JETs look at my blog, but it's more meant for people at home (though since I'm still not up to date with my photos, most of my friends don't yet know about it yet...), so the statements made may be obvious to people living here. :)
