Aikido Embukai
My first time participating in an aikido embukai. It's not really a competition, more of a demonstration, but scary nonetheless.

The enkai (party) afterwards:

Somehow we got into a wasabi eating contest, in which everyone played rock-paper-scissors (in Japan you can play rock-paper-scissors, jyanken, with a big group all at once) and the loser had to eat a big piece of wasabi, wrapped in a leaf. I lost one round, and had to eat a small piece, but poor Nahoko was the last loser and had to eat a really big chunk of wasabi!
