Valentine's Day
From my Valentine. :)

In Japan it's customary for girls to give chocolates to boys on Valentine's Day (though most of my females students told me they just gave chocolates to their female friends), then this is reciprocated by the boys on "White Day," March 14th. For the past few weeks stores have had kits for "making" your own chocolate (molds and plain chocolate bars) because I guess ideally you are supposed to be giving "homemade" chocolates to the boys.
A present from a couple of women at the BOE:
Mmm, your two favourite junk foods combined! (and yes, the potato chips were salted...)

Hey, I send the films home for 2 reasons...
1. I have takenwell over 3000 pic whilst here so far. Imagine getting that home.
2. I don't like the developng here. Size and quality. Your pics look fab. Where do you get them developed?
I have a really awesome camera shop across the street from my BOE and one of the employees speaks English! I'm not crazy about the glossy paper (I've asked a a bunch of places but no one seems to have matte...), but this place does a really nice job. I've also had them make black and white prints from my colour negs. They even fixed the hotshoe on one of my cameras which I thought was broken!
Actually, chocolate-covered potato chips are quite delicious! You have the combination of the sweet chocolate and the salty chips....yumm!
