The reason my blog hasn't been updated in a while.
Tammy, looking none too pleased, hole-punching and binding yearbooks in my BOE. You can see all the pages set out in order on the desks, waiting to be assembled.This was Saturday, which is why there is only one person besides Megan, Tammy and me in the office (Thank you for giving up your entire Saturday, Hashimoto-sensei!).
I feel that I now have a better understanding of Japan's workoholic office workers after staying at my BOE several nights this week until 9 or 10 and one night well past midnight. A better understanding...but no desire to emulate them! Several people in my office come in every morning at 7:30 or 8 and stay until at least 9pm! Some also come in on Saturday morning. Yikes! I plan never to stay there so late again!
