Pottery

Way way back in March Becky and I went to Fukuoka to make pottery, and we have been so busy since then that we have been unable to set up a day that worked for everyone involved to go back and glaze the things we made! So, a couple weekends ago we finally went back to paint our pottery!

This is the friendliest cat ever! It acts kind of like a dog and follows you around and jumps up onto your lap if you pat it. It was also trying to eat Becky's food.

Afterwards we went for okonomiyaki!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I spent Thanksgiving weekend camping in Akiyoshidai and then at a sake festival in Hiroshima.

Sake Festival in Hiroshima
At this annual event, you pay a 1500yen entrance fee, which gets you your own little sake cup, then you can sample sake from all over Japan!

Angie takes a break to drink some sake-sized-cups of water.
